Bringing home a new baby is a beautiful journey, but it can also be overwhelming. My postnatal doula support packages are here to lend a helping hand during this special time by providing emotional, physical, and informational support through the early days of parenthood – making sure you feel confident and cared for.
Package Options:
- 4 Visits Package – $900
- Four 3-hour visits
- Great for getting started with some extra support.
- 6 Visits Package – $1350
- Six 3-hour visits
- Comprehensive support for those who need a bit more guidance.
- 8 Visits Package – $1800
- Eight 3-hour visits
- My most supportive option for those who want extra help.
Services Provided:
- Prenatal Preparation Meeting (1 hour):
- Included in all packages!
- Let’s chat in-person or over Zoom based on your preference and location
- Discussion of your needs, expectations and concerns for postnatal support
- Together, we'll create a personalised plan to ensure you feel ready for your postpartum journey.
- Emotional Support:
- Listening, empathy, and validation of your feelings and concerns
- Guidance in processing birth experiences and adjusting to parenthood
- Physical Support:
- Assistance with breastfeeding or bottle-feeding techniques
- Baby care guidance including nappies, bathing, and soothing techniques
- Light household chores such as laundry, dishes, and meal preparation (ingredients to be provided)
- Assistance with self-care for the mother, including reminders to rest and stay hydrated
- Informational Support:
- Evidence-based information on infant feeding, sleep patterns, and postpartum recovery
- Referrals to trusted resources such as lactation consultants, holistic providers, and support groups
- Education on newborn care, babywearing, and safe sleep practices
Additional Information:
- Visit Schedule: Choose weekly or twice-weekly visits—it's up to you!
- Additional Visits: Additional or one-off visits can be booked at a rate of $250 per 3-hour visit.
- Travel Charge: If you're outside the North Shore, a small travel fee may apply. Just ask for details.
